Sarah Julia is a duo consisting of sisters Sarah and Julia, whose musical partnership is deeply rooted in their shared childhood experiences in theatre and professional musicals. After years of performing in TV shows and movies, they have transitioned into songwriting to tell their own stories, gradually carving a path characterized by intimacy and sincerity. Their music, developed alongside Jasper Maekelberg, lyrically and sonically explores the transition from the softness of childhood to the complexities of adulthood. Utilizing acoustic guitar, harp, double bass, and cello, they translate the world of young adulthood into song. Their debut EP, 'How Do We Go Back To Being Normal?', serves as a time capsule for a period of grief and change, capturing snapshots of growth and reflection.
