A raw orchestral night.
Respighi’s Fountains and Pines of Rome capture the history, beauty, and magic of the eternal city. The composer’s lush and colorful reliefs come to life under the baton of Roberto González-Monjas. Clara-Jumi Kang also returns to Walt Disney Concert Hall with Prokofiev’s lyrical Second Violin Concerto, a work that combines Tchaikovsky’s influence with the composer’s own sardonic voice.
