After 13 years, Brazilian artist Anelis Assumpção returns to Europe with a trio performance featuring Bruno Buarque, Saulo Duarte, and Klaus Sena. Her music blends samba, dub, reggae, jazz, rock, and Afro-Brazilian traditions. Joining her is Mayara Baptista, a Berlin-based vocalist and performance artist whose work explores memory and Afro-diasporic movement using voice and loop stations. The night also features DJ Chichi Mentira, known for her selection of 80s and 90s Brazilian and Latin sounds, focusing on Rio de Janeiro's sound-system culture.
