Àbáse is the project of Hungarian producer, composer, and keyboardist Szabolcs Bognár, bringing contemporary jazz into conversation with Afrobeat, Brazilian percussion, and electronic groove culture. Inspired by residencies and collaborations in Brazil, New York, Ghana, and South Africa, his music draws from an eclectic blend of global influences.
