aufnahme + wiedergabe and Raubbau present a night of power electronics and industrial music featuring Sutcliffe No More, Control, and Kommando. Sutcliffe No More, the successor to Sutcliffe Jugend founded by Kevin Tomkins in 1982, has evolved from its power electronics roots to a more diverse musical approach while maintaining its noise foundation. Control, the project of Thomas Garrison from Santa Cruz, is recognized as a premiere American power electronics act with a vast discography. Kommando, originally Dan Courtman’s pre-Thorofon project, was re-established in 2007 and continues to produce influential industrial works.
