Pour ce premier rendez-vous d'une intégrale du piano du compositeur russe prévue en trois récitals, le pianiste fait dialoguer les œuvres de maturité de Rachmaninov avec celles de Mendelssohn. Le programme explore l'évolution stylistique du compositeur, des Pièces de l'opus 3 aux Préludes et Études-Tableaux, témoignant de sa maîtrise avant son exil de 1917.
