Gustavo Gimeno leads the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a program celebrating French and Hispanic musical traditions. The concert features Ravel's Daphnis et Chloé and Rapsodie espagnole, alongside Falla's El amor brujo. A centerpiece of the performance is the return of Venezuelan trumpet soloist Pacho Flores for Gabriela Ortiz's Altar de Bronce, a concerto written specifically for him that blends tension and drama with Mexican dance rhythms.
