Nina Yamada headlines the inaugural ALTAR Lates mixing deep house, Afrobeat, and jazz grooves on basement soundsystems. Tickets on Mood.
For the inaugural ALTAR Lates event, featuring late-night club sessions on a heavy basement soundsystem, Altar welcomes Nina Yamada. Raised in Kamakura, Japan, and now based in London, Yamada is a DJ and the founder of Jazzy Sport London. Influenced by her father's record collection, her sets blend deep house with Afrobeat, jazz, Latin, and reggae grooves. Having performed across Europe and Asia, including appearances at Berghain Panorama Bar and Wonderfruit, she also opened for Theo Parrish at We Out Here. Her viral My Analog Journal mix earned recognition from Mixmag, and she continues to produce forward-thinking electronic music while leading her independent label branch.
