Stap binnen in een wens-tuin waar bomen fluisteren en de wind verhalen draagt. Een stokoude Mammoetboom en een dapper Vogelkind ontmoeten elkaar in deze ode aan de natuur en vriendschap. Tijdens Vogelkinds reis naar Afrika houdt de boom via een onzichtbaar wortelnetwerk de wacht over hem. Oorkaan presenteert een uniek avontuur met spoken word: een betoverend hoorspel waarin muziek en vertelling samensmelten tot een theatrale beleving. Met muziek van Margaret Bonds, Leoš Janáček en Ayuo Takahashi.
