A Christmas Serenade; Tchaikovsky, Mozart & more
A raw, underground concerto night.
Celebrate the festive season with an atmospheric evening of classical music for strings. The programme features Mozart's Divertimento in D major, Tchaikovsky's Autumn and Andante Cantabile, excerpts from The Nutcracker, a lush arrangement of Holst's In the Bleak Midwinter, and Winter from Astor Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires featuring violinist Harriet Mackenzie. Proceeds from the performance support Music in Action, providing music education for underprivileged children.
