Black Communion Vol. 3

BLACK Communion is an event series that promotes creative sonic practices within the Black diaspora. This project facilitates the sharing of experiences from the transnational Afro-diaspora, moving beyond genre boundaries and fostering experimentation through collaboration. It celebrates the connection between artists from diverse backgrounds and creative communities, unified by sonic activism that spans composition, improvisation, and sound art. For each edition, three artists from the Americas, Europe, and Africa meet. While the first evening features individual performances, the second evening is dedicated to open collaborations and improvisation among the participants. This event marks the second night of the 2026 third edition.
