GoGo Penguin return to perform material from their album Necessary Fictions at KOKO, blending acoustic instruments with modular synths. Tickets on Mood.
The Manchester trio GoGo Penguin return with their powerful album Necessary Fictions. Known for an inspirational blend of jazz, classical, and electronic influences, the group features pianist Chris Illingworth, bassist Nick Blacka, and drummer Jon Scott. This latest work finds the band digging deep into their authentic qualities, incorporating modular synths and electric bass more than ever before as they glide between acoustic instrumentation and hypnotic electronica.
