V11 x Rotown presents: Min Taka + BERTHAJU

With a name inspired by a myth about a vanishing planet, Min Taka shares her inner world through genre-blending music that shifts between indie, liquid drum and bass, synth, and hyperpop. Her songs explore themes of identity, connection, femininity, and the longing to belong. Min Taka’s musical universe ranges from intimate and fragile to intense electronic chaos, effortlessly transitioning between these extremes. Her music feels hypermodern, thematically and sonically resonating with the present, playing a key role in shaping contemporary pop culture. Since 2020, the Istanbul- and Rotterdam-based Min Taka has released several singles and an EP, performing on renowned stages and festivals such as Motel Mozaique, Le Guess Who?, Popronde, Istanbul Jazz Festival, and ESNS 2025, where she earned a standout fourth place in 3voor12’s best-of list. With both Turkish and English unreleased tracks, she captivates her Dutch audience while making significant strides across the European music scene. The pixie-pop artist is currently working on a new project, slated for release in the summer of 2025.
