An underground, gritty free jazz night.
Cafe OTO welcomes the legendary Schlippenbach Globe Unity Orchestra for a three-day residency marking the group's 60th anniversary. As one of the world's most significant free-jazz big bands, they arrive with a 15-piece lineup. The performance features piano duets between Alexander von Schlippenbach and Aki Takase, alongside renowned improvisers Evan Parker and Paul Lytton. This residency continues the venue's tradition of hosting landmark large-ensemble jazz performances.
