Deep Forest began in northern France in the early '90s with the vision of blending ethnic music with electronic and jazz sounds. Their self-titled debut album featured the global hit 'Sweet Lullaby' and propelled them to international stardom, eventually selling 10 million albums. The group earned a Grammy for Best World Music Album with their follow-up 'Boheme' and has collaborated with legends such as Peter Gabriel and Herbie Hancock. Since 2005, Eric Mouquet has continued the project solo, exploring diverse sounds through albums like Deep Africa and Deep India. Their current live performance is a versatile journey through up-tempo electronic jazz and ambient passages.
