False Locust presents an evening celebrating the life and centenary legacy of visionary trumpeter, composer, and educator Bill Dixon. The event opens with a discussion between broadcaster Kevin Le Gendre and Dixon collaborator Stephen Haynes, followed by an improvising nonet featuring Haynes, Sam Eastmond, Alexander Hawkins, Evan Parker, and others. The night culminates in a performance of Dixon's significant work Index by the Index Orchestra.
