One of the finest baritones of his generation and a natural successor to Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Benjamin Appl joins the Jerusalem Quartet for a thoughtful recital. The programme features Robert Schumann’s dramatic ballad Belsatzar, alongside works by Brahms, Mahler, Barber, Webern, and Kurt Weill, exploring themes of the infinite cosmos and dreams.
