The Skints
London four-piece The Skints come to Grounds with a lively mix of ska, reggae, dub, punk, hiphop and grime. Their music carries the energy of East London’s underground scene, moving from tight ska rhythms and relaxed reggae to heavier punk passages. Formed in North East London in 2007, the band consists of school friends Marcia Richards, Joshua Waters Rudge, Jamie Kyriakides and Jonathan Doyle. With three lead vocalists and a broad range of influences, The Skints have developed a sound that recalls The Specials and The Clash while remaining distinctly their own. After touring extensively with albums including Live, Breathe, Build, Believe, Part & Parcel, FM and Swimming Lessons, the band begins a new chapter in 2026. Their new album Sour Tooth is due in October and will take centre stage during this Rotterdam show.
