The Score Revisited
A nostalgic hip hop night.
A full live band performs The Fugees’ classic The Score in full to celebrate its 30th Anniversary. Blending classic doo-wop, soul, RnB and reggae into a contemporary framework, The Score became a pivotal force in the evolution of a new wave of hip-hop and neo-soul. Released in 1996, the album marked a defining moment for the trio of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel. From ‘Ready or Not,’ ‘Zealots,’ and ‘Fu-Gee-La,’ to ‘Family Business,’ and ‘Killing Me Softly With His Song’, this is a celebration of an album that changed the course of modern music.
