Pitou

The Dutch singer-songwriter, composer, and producer Pitou made her breakthrough in 2023 with 'Big Tear,' an album that earned international acclaim. Her unique sound is shaped by a classical choir background and influences ranging from Malian and Senegalese music to Indian styles. The result is a layered sound featuring her signature voice, unpredictable melodies, and poetic lyrics. With her new project 'P2,' Pitou explores themes of mania, euphoria, and melancholy, often leaning into danceable rhythms. Her DIY approach adds a raw, direct quality to her music without losing its inherent finesse. Live, this translates into an intense, emotional performance where music and visuals align perfectly.
