Afro Anatolian Tales weaves ancient Silk Road songs, rhythms, and modern sounds into a musical bridge between East and West. Founded by Dutch-Turkish percussionist Sjahin During, the project explores the musical traditions of Anatolia, Iran, and India, fusing ancient melodic elements with contemporary electronics and improvisation. The Amsterdam-based ensemble creates immersive, cinematic soundscapes that transcend genre boundaries, offering a vibrant journey from the Orient to the Occident. This performance features the core quartet along with guest Burak Savas, blending vocals, violin, cello, and synthesizers with traditional Silk Road instruments.
