In de zomer van 2025 werd de Nederlandse pianist Nikola Meeuwsen de jongste winnaar van de prestigieuze Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd in Brussel. Een jaar eerder was de Duits-Koreaanse violiste SongHa Choi laureaat in dezelfde wedstrijd. Samen met het ook al jonge en veelgeprezen Barbican Quartet spelen zij muziek van Ernest Chausson en César Franck. Een programma vol verfijnde fin-de-siècle-romantiek en de dramatische impact van een opera zonder tekst.
