The fourth edition of the Partners in Crime concert series highlights distinctive female musicians. The trio Contagious, known for blending avant-garde experimentation with electronic music, invites three guest artists from diverse backgrounds. Their collaborative work integrates elements from traditional Serbian music, poetry, jazz, and sound art to explore the transformative power of improvisation and collective performance. Electroacoustic musician Andrea Parkins joins the series, bringing her expertise in sound art and composition. Parkins is recognized for her pioneering improvisation style that pairs electronically-processed accordion with layered feedback and foley objects. Her diverse body of work spans contemporary dance, experimental film, and spatial audio installations, having been showcased at venues like the Whitney Museum and Kunsthalle Basel.
