Syrinx and Heartwood Chorus present a winter choral concert featuring folk carols and wassails inside Holy Sepulchre. Tickets on Mood.
Two choirs come together for an evening of winter songs, harmony and warmth. Join SYRINX & Heartwood Chorus for a collection of warming winter songs. Sit back and sink into the sound of 80+ voices ringing around the ancient acoustic of Holy Sepulchre (aka The National Musician's Church). The concert will feature music for the season, folk carols and wassails, from the medieval to the modern. SYRINX is a contemporary choir of around 60 voices. We sing a wide-ranging mix of old and new songs with harmony and heart. The choir's name comes from the vocal organ of birds — an inspiration for our sound and repertoire. Heartwood Chorus are a folk choir from Bristol, led by Neil Johnson. They sing original, spellbinding arrangements of traditional folk songs, as well as interpretations of future classics from the thriving folk scene. This will be their debut London performance.
