This movie is simple on paper capturing this cold desolate landscape of Iceland but giving you these early morning blues that work in portraying these people dealing with harsh situations. I did find that a lot of the connections seem too serandipitous to be believed but we get a warm sentiment by the end. It's a fine enough movie and the performances were good and it's not like this film sucked all the oxygen out of the room.
