Gritty; overdone; relatable; sad; tragic; uneven; watchable.
Boy this is a looooooooooooooooooong movie. 60 minutes in I realized I still had another 48 and damn near fainted. Great performances. No idea why Braff is in this but he held it down. Esther Mcgregor was great and I can’t help but feel this was to showcase her range? Either way she did great. The low score is bc this felt like copaganda lol. The real bad guys were the cops all along but the film refuses to put a spotlight on that lil sticky situation 💔😩😭👀
