Al Cologne
London-based artist Al Cologne’s sound is charged with an electric, queer tenderness, gently fizzing with emotion that has condensed over years of diaristic, kitchen-sink songwriting. Yearning, intimacy, and sexual discovery are bottled in songs shaped by mood rather than fixed arrangement. Their debut EP, arriving March 2026 via Joy of Life International; produced by Benjamin Woods (The Golden Dregs) drifts in the orbit of Angel Olsen, Sharon Van Etten, Big Thief, and Faye Webster. These are songs about identity, control, and transformation; about trying to inhabit your own body, and then trying again the day following.
