Banjo-Vie
An underground bluegrass act.
Tracks1
Banjo-Vie formed in 2012 as the world's first hillbilly-rock band covering pop-rock classics under the name 'Banjo-Vie'! Blending the styles of Country legends like Steve Earle, Earl Scruggs and My Name Is Earl with hard-hitting heavy-metal anthems by The Black Eyed Peas, a-ha and that girl from that snow movie, Banjo-Vie aim to get yer' feet movin' and yer' eyes crossin'. Featuring Tommy "Weird Beard" Jackson on Vocals and Drums, Rev. Frankie Calhoun on Guitar, Cussin' Jimbob Lee on Mandolin and Banjo, and a bassist.
