Alt-pop, folk edges, electronic shine. Bliss Carmxn is the project of Canadian-born, London-based artist, writer and scholar Adam Jovanović Kaasa, weaving electro shimmer, piano ballads and folk texture into songs that move between dancefloor pulse and close, reflective storytelling. The sound has drawn comparison to Perfume Genius, Paul Simon and Caroline Polachek. The debut EP Hold My Hand And I'll Hold Yours (2024) won critical acclaim — Clash praised its "spellbinding textures" and Mystic Sons its "soaring atmosphere and stellar vocals." Early singles Powder (a BBC London premiere) and Call Me By My Name established Bliss on Berlin's Wicked Hag label and grew an international remix network. Live, Bliss has moved from a sold-out EP launch at London's Waiting Room to a first Canadian tour in 2025,. In June 2026, Bliss co-curated and performed at the Royal College of Art showcase at SXSW London, Shoreditch Town Hall. The EP Open Love (August 2026) opens a new chapter, its four tracks moving across folk-rooted storytelling, disco-pop and electronic production. Lead single Caffeine Orange arrived in September 2025, followed by Never Wanted (March 2026) and One Shot (July 2026). Jovanović Kaasa's practice reaches beyond the record: Bliss was selected for Moonbound, the first artbook set to land on the Moon in 2026, and scored When the Clarion Came to Call, a dance-theatre piece (2025) — part of a wider art practice concerned with place, myth, voice and the imagination.
