Chun from Chun-Li and no slut shame. ChunS!ut is a DJ, producer, sound artist, composer and music director working across Shanghai, New York and London. Her music cuts East Asian pop memory into metallic club structures, using fragmented edits, modular arrangements, distortion, orchestral swells and high-impact rhythm. “Pop culture is a subculture” runs through her practice: familiar voices, underground inventions and overlooked independent artists meet on equal terms, guided by sonic force, emotional charge and bodily response. Stream counts stay outside the room. Her work spans London Fashion Week, moving image, installation and immersive screens, including music direction for BUERLANGMA and a Palette Mix for Mixmag China. On her dancefloor, clothes, gender and social roles loosen into sweat. Rhythm, pleasure and the body remain.
