Emerging from the queer underground, Berlin based shapeshifter Coco Klein is internationally known for conceptual world building through performance art, costume, scenography and music. Creating immersive fantasies that pull viewers in with beauty and the bizarre and invite them to unpack the inherited systems of oppression that we live under; dissecting societal norms around gender identity and self-expression in a patriarchal, heteronormative society. Music has been the driving force of their lifelong career spanning dance, drag and dj-ing, now naturally evolving into releasing their own music. Gender-bending and genre-blending, Coco remains fluid both visually and sonically.
