COW Shift Z is a portuguese composer of electronic music and performer. The electronic dance music gives her the common ground to express her inner- world and tell her stories with a free and experimental mindset. She has been dedicated to performing her music live, creating new live-sets for the underground dance music scene. Her last EP “Funeral for the Selves” reflects her industrial attitude and the constant research for finding aggression in sound. In her work we can see the influences of hardcore, trance and electro - different genres can express better different emotions. COW Shift Z also has experience with multimedia. “Buffer Manelzinho 1204.8” a multimedia opera she made in collaboration with her alter-ego Manelzinho represents her will to inspire artistic freedom and the search of identity of every person.
