London-based DJ and producer Darama is building a body of work defined by growth — in sound and in scope. Rooted in UK dance music but unconstrained by its edges, his sound refracts UKG, RnB and Hip-Hop through South Asian texture culminating in a new cinematic 110bpm lane. Built for peak-time impact yet designed to deepen over time, these releases mark a deliberate step forward — each project expanding his sound world rather than repeating it. His earlier output — including releases on More Time Records and via Pound Shop Edits — laid the foundation, earning support from platforms such as Boiler Room, HÖR and Rinse, and appearances at Glastonbury and The Warehouse Project. Alongside his solo work, Darama remains a core member of the Daytimers collective and co-founder of the immersive label Bubblin, continuing to contribute to the culture he’s growing within.
