Dawn of Age is a Berlin-based heavy/thrash metal band combining classic metal traditions with modern intensity. Their sound blends the drive of 80s British heavy metal with thrash aggression and melodic death metal influences. Powerful riffs, strong melodies, and an energetic live performance define the band. Dawn of Age were formed in 2017 in Berlin, Germany. Over the past years, Dawn of Age have steadily built a growing fanbase through regular live performances in Berlin and beyond. The band has played support shows for established acts such as Hammer King, Kryptos, Rebellion, and Wizard, earning a reputation for an energetic and powerful live performance. On July 7, 2023, Dawn of Age released their debut album “Into The Abyss”, showcasing their distinctive blend of classic and modern metal influences. The current line-up consists of Mathias Röpke (vocals), Thomas Helling (drums), Simon Brunner (guitar), Toni Seifert (guitar), and Daniel Knorn (bass).
