Gee Beaumont

Gee Beaumont is an independent artist based in Barcelona, carving out a distinctive space between electronic pulse and alternative guitar culture. Obscure novel writer and also playing guitars on other projects, Beaumont develops a parallel solo project under his own name, where he fully explores his personal sonic identity. His debut album, Lo-Fi Songs, is an instrumental indie-dance record built around programming, electric guitar and ukulele tracks. Conceived as a conceptual work, the album unfolds through four singles — Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter — each capturing a different mood and atmosphere while remaining cohesive as a whole. Gee Beaumont’s sound is shaped by a wide and deliberately contrasting range of influences: from the dark electronic textures of 90s techno and synth-pop, to the raw energy of late-80s British punk and post-punk, as well as the grunge and indie movements of the 1990s. This blend results in music that is both nostalgic and forward-looking, minimal yet emotionally charged, danceable but introspective. Currently, Gee Beaumont is working on his second album, a new chapter that will introduce vocal tracks while maintaining the strong alternative foundations of his sound. With a clear artistic vision and an evolving catalogue, he stands out as a compelling independent artist with strong crossover potential between indie and alternative audiences.
