Gharret

Gharret is the musical project of Portuguese producer and DJ Frederico Bento, based in Brussels. Guided by curiosity rather than genre, he approaches electronic music as a space for exploration, where every track captures a different moment, experience or state of mind. Rather than chasing a signature sound, Gharret lets each production evolve naturally, moving between melodic house, techno, breakbeats, drum & bass and other influences without losing its authenticity. His music reflects a simple belief: genres are only tools, while emotion, movement and honesty are what truly connect people. His debut album, Azulejos, brings together seven tracks produced over five years. Like the Portuguese tiles that inspired its name, each piece stands on its own while contributing to a broader picture, capturing snapshots of different periods, inspirations and experiences. As a DJ, Gharret blends his own productions with the music that has shaped him over the years, creating sets that flow freely across styles while remaining connected by one purpose: to build a space where people can dance, disconnect from everyday life, and simply enjoy the moment together. For Gharret, music is more than entertainment. It is culture, community, and a way of sharing experiences without needing words.
