Grandma's Ashes

In the intimacy of the trio formula, Grandma's Ashes narrates a Parisian daily life tarnished by violence and insensitivity. Purged by the live energy of rock, the three young women commune with their audience via an explosive show that shakes performances to the core. Over the past 2 albums, their powerful riffs and pop vocals have delivered the ambivalent emotions of an intimate epic. The Fates, their progressive and stoner-influenced debut EP, already announced their desire to do battle on stage. Their love of heaviness was confirmed with This Too Shall Pass, their debut album, warmly received in French and Spanish venues, and later at Hellfest and Motocultor. Their universe, rich in mythological and artistic references, is deployed in carefully crafted covers and narrative videos. In 2025, Grandma's Ashes are about to follow up their need for experimentation and freedom with their second album. New-wave and grunge compositions, motivated by the stage and the need to carry their enraged and committed lyrics ever further.
