Iggy Mayerov are a six-piece indie-pop band from the Czech Republic, blending dreamy nostalgia, shimmering guitars, synth textures, and driving drum-machine beats with emotionally honest songwriting. Led by vocalist and guitarist Tereza Pilařová, alongside Michal Pilař (guitar), Jakub Pilař (bass), Martin Griner (keys, synths), Alžběta Kuklová (guitar, backing vocals), and Jiří Hájek (guitar), the band crafts atmospheric songs that explore memory, loss, and the fleeting nature of human experience while remaining irresistibly melodic. Since breaking through with their debut single Ride in 2019, Iggy Mayerov have become a recognized name on the Czech and Slovak alternative scene. They have performed shows across the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, and the United States, including an appearance at New York's The New Colossus Festival. The band has also been selected as a support act for acclaimed international artists including Bôa, Prewn, and Dream, Ivory. Their debut album Millennial Cliché (2022) brought wider recognition, with its title track being selected by Expres FM among the best Czech pop songs of the year. They later collaborated with Anděl Award-winning producer and artist Lazer Viking on the Lovesick EP, whose standout single Givin' You Up surpassed 200,000 views on YouTube. The singles Feels Like Yesterday (2025) and Going Backwards (2026) introduced more mature chapter of the band's songwriting while setting the direction for their forthcoming second album.
