Lander & Adriaan

Lander & Adriaan is a Belgian duo with drummer Lander Gyselinck (STUFF.,Beraadgeslagen, Hihats In Trees) and Adriaan Van de Velde (Pomrad, Mauro Pawlowski, J. Bernardt). Their common fondness for slick digital synths and 90s underground dance music genres brought them together to submerge in symbiotic jams during the very first lockdown in 2020. They haven’t stopped raving since, releasing energy and records at a steady rhythm. The past few years, they’ve solidified themselves as a must-see live act, sparking a craze wherever they perform their 360° set. A legendary surprise concert at Brussels' Kiosk Radio for Lefto Early Bird’s weekly show marked the start of their international career after the live video went viral. Their performances at Down The Rabbit Hole and Into The Great Wide Open in 2023 caused such a stir that they’ve been busy touring ever since. The following year, sets at Lowlands and Pukkelpop were met with critical acclaim, making several top 10 lists for best live shows of the 2024 festival summer. Their loony mashup of corny jazz with all kinds of 90’s dance genres like Chicago juke, Detroit techno, UK-Funky and Classic rave, guides you to a realm of (not so) guilty pleasures, sweet drumming frenzies, pulpy saccharine melodies and mushy basslines, all gently weaved into raw dance music.
