What started as a one-man band, Mr. Floyd Larry has now developed into a full-fledged alternative rock project based in Miami, Florida. Blending melodic guitars, heavy basslines, and distinctive vocals, Floyd Larry pulls from dreampop, shoegaze, post-punk, and modern rock to create a nostalgic yet forward-moving sound. Originally beginning as a producer in 2018, Floyd Larry’s love for bands shaped a project influenced by acts like DIIV, Beach Fossils, Gorillaz, and Cocteau Twins. The music explores themes of love, longing, and vulnerability with an intimate, immersive feel.
