Born in the neon grit of Los Angeles to an Iranian mother and an American father, her sound is a collision of cultures: the theatricality of opera, the soul of Chicago blues, and the richness of Iranian legends like Googoosh. Classically trained on piano since age four and sharpened in Paris (as a celebrated semi-finalist on The Voice France), Niki constructs a sonic world where glamour meets tragedy. Her upcoming project, Hollywood Haute Mess, is a dark, cinematic portrait of fame, delusion, and self-destruction. Written through the lens of the Seven Deadly Sins, the album unfolds as a storybook of the industry's darkest impulses. It follows the arc of "Haute Mess"—a Starlet shaped by temptation and ambition—from wide-eyed dreams of stardom, through obsession and self-sabotage, to an eventual breakdown that becomes a breakthrough. In Spring 2026, Niki strips the fantasy back with The JV Monheim Sessions, a raw live EP featuring the exclusive track "Famous or Nameless." Captured in single takes, these acoustic recordings showcase the classical piano chops she has honed since childhood, proving that even when the party ends, the voice remains. Blending the massive vocals of her opera background with the irony of her LA roots, Niki exposes how Hollywood feeds on illusion—and what it costs to survive when the fantasy finally collapses.
