Dutch trio Parker Fans channel the energy of your favorite cassette mixtape, translating it to a boisterous pop sound that leans on the foundation of drum samples, synths and ultra groovy bass to shuffle styles with a magpie’s spirit. The main directive is simple and altruistic: get people to dance their bleeding hearts out. Appearing at festivals like Best Kept Secret, Left of the Dial, Into The Great Wide Open and ESNS – as well as shows with Altin Gün, Pip Blom and Jungle By Night – Parker Fans built themselves a reputation for maximum mayhem – in grubby clubs and bigger festivals alike and every reputable and questionable establishment inbetween. Aware of the futility of having too much fun, their infuriatingly catchy songs survey the stirrings of nightlife through a cracked lens.
