Rebecca is a country singer-songwriter from Pontypool, South Wales, whose music is rooted in the valleys where she grew up. Surrounded by her dad’s country music records, she developed a lifelong love of storytelling and the rich diversity of country music. Her professional journey began after joining an online songwriting community, leading to the release of her debut single, Unluckiest of Hearts, in 2022. Since then, Rebecca has earned worldwide radio play, been shortlisted for UK Country Female Artist of the Year and performed at venues and festivals across South Wales and beyond, increasingly alongside her band, The Wildflowers. In 2025, Rebecca won the Love Live Music Awards Country/Folk category and achieved BBC Radio Wales A-list status with Amber. Later that year, she was selected to feature in a TV series by the songwriting forum and flew to Nashville, recording at legendary Ocean Way Studios and co-writing with Nashville songwriters. Her 2026 single Never Too Late, recorded in Nashville, also gained BBC Radio Wales A-list status. In June, she received the Love Live Music Awards Local Legend Award. “I just say yes to everything and see where it takes me — it’s been pretty incredible so far.” Rebecca’s journey proves it’s never too late to follow your dream.
