A high-energy, nostalgic metal artist.
VIGILHUNTER is an Italian based project founded by vocalist/guitarrist Alex Panza, aiming to create a late 80s US Heavy Metal with a Prog-ish touch. With the help of bassist Mirko Negrino, who played a key role in bringing the songs and vision to life, the lineup was completed by Marcello “Cell” Leocani on drums and Mattia Itala on lead and rhythm guitar. A debut, self-titled full-length album, packed with screaming guitar riffs, high-pitched vocals, and a powerful yet dynamic approach to songwriting, was recorded during the summer of 2024, and it will be released on 28th March 2025 by High Roller Records. The record consists of 8 tracks, aiming to revive the lost art of US Heavy Metal, which many of us, old-school metal fans, still regard as the pinnacle of the genre for its untamable power and class.
