Void is a five-piece thrash metal band from Lafayette, Louisiana. Formed in 2019 by vocalist Jackson Davenport, Void quickly carved a path across the Gulf Coast with a sound rooted in classic thrash tradition and driven by modern aggression. After building regional momentum with local shows and their first Southern U.S. tour in late 2022, Void released their debut album Horrors of Reality in early 2023, a raw and relentless fusion of classic thrash aggression and the band’s sinister themes. Their summer Haunted Madness tour followed, capped by the Halloween release of their single “Silent Onslaught.” Summer 2024 saw Void hit the road again on their nationwide Spectral Aggression Tour. Following a tour out west to open for thrash legends Whiplash, the band returned with a revamped lineup and a sharpened, evolved sonic identity. The release of “Return of the Phantom” showcased a more mature and dynamic approach, earning critical acclaim. In early 2025, Void entered the studio to record their sophomore album Forbidden Morals, then toured the East Coast alongside Louisiana icons Exhorder before launching the Breaking and Entering Summer Tour across the U.S. After the album’s release on August 29, Void returned to the road supporting Dark Angel, Sacred Reich, and Hirax, and traveled to Germany to perform at the final Keep It True Rising festival. Void is: Jackson Davenport – Vocals Gabe LeJeune – Lead Guitar Blake Adams – Bass Chris Braune – Lead Guitar Aaron Landry – Drums
