Initially formed as a punk-pop trio by Boston schoolmates, The Lemonheads rose to prominence in the early nineties. Blending catchy melodies with a touch of country influence, the group found mainstream success led by the charisma of frontman Evan Dando. Their career reached its commercial zenith with the acclaimed 1992 release It's a Shame About Ray and its 1993 successor Come On Feel the Lemonheads. Decades later, the band maintains a devoted following and continues to be a celebrated name in alternative rock.
