Angine De Poitrine is an experimental rock duo from Quebec formed in 2023, consisting of members Klek and Khn de Poitrine. The group performs a unique style of instrumental anti-arena-rock characterized by a techno-like structure. Their music features a dynamic interplay of sound patterns that undergo constant metamorphosis. Utilizing an electronic looping module and microtonal instruments, the duo records in real time to create layers of melodic ornamentation. Their sound is defined by angular, chromatic phrases in quarter tones, intertwining guitar and bass in a complex sonic landscape.
