Songs & Stories places a beloved UK personality centre stage alongside multi-award-winning singer, pianist and broadcaster Ian Shaw. Relaxed, revealing and frequently hilarious, the series blends live music with candid conversation exploring stories behind a life in the spotlight. For this special edition, Shaw is joined by Julian Clary, one of the UK’s most enduring entertainers. From his breakthrough during the alternative comedy boom of the 1980s to becoming a national treasure of stage and screen, Clary has built a singular career in stand-up, television and writing. This promises to be an afternoon of sharp humour, unexpected songs, backstage stories and joyful mischief as Julian discusses his new novel, The Midmorning Murders.
