The Choir of St Marylebone Parish Church, distinguished soloists, and a full baroque orchestra perform Handel's most famous oratorio. First premiered in Dublin in 1742, Messiah represents the height of Handel's English oratorio style, featuring a prominent chorus in its musical retelling of the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ.
