sonics & grief
An underground, slow-burn experimental night.
Explore vocalities, drone, and ambient soundscapes at sonics & grief in Berlin featuring Slowfoam and You & I are Earth. Lineup on Mood.
sonics & grief is a series of holding and witnessing grief through sound, discourse and community. While previous iterations focused on eco-grief and deep time, this event at 90mil explores vocalities—the alchemical and archaeological properties of human and non-human voices—as archives and anchors in the grieving process. Grief is addressed in spectral terms, welcoming personal, ecological, and global grief alike with an emphasis on safety and gentleness.
